82° ALPINE'S LATINA MEETING

May 10th 2009

The Chorus participation to the 82th Alpine's national meeting started visiting our Abruzzo's Alpine friends of Rapino and with a concert into the San Nicola Church in Pretoro alternating with the local flokloristic formation.
The evening ended at the site of the Alpine with songs, beans, cheese, ham and ... good wine.
The following day we left early to go to Latina, where we took part at the parade for the annual gathering of the Alpine in the section of Lecco.
After the parade we went to Siena to spend the night and rest for the next day; in the morning with the help of a guide, we learned the history, uses and customs of this ancient city.
We then went to San Gimignano to have lunch and then spend the afternoon singing along the evocative streets and squares of the village, not disdaining to taste the local specialties.
In the late afternoon we reached the bus that brought us back home for a deserved rest until the next engagement.
